Help
Quick answers about the camera, playing, your streak and your SWADE account.
Does the camera record me?
No. The camera and the pose tracking both run on your phone. No image, no video, not a single frame ever leaves it: not to us, not to anyone. Only your moves travel: a jump, a squat, a score.
What we keep, and why: our privacy policy.
How do I play?
Your body is the controller. Prop your phone up so the camera sees you from head to toe, clear some space around you, then jump, squat and step aside to move.
If the camera loses you, the game waits. Step back in and it picks up right where you were.
Can I play without jumping?
Yes. Go easy on your knees or your back: open the Profile tab, tap Settings, then Health, and pick what to protect. Jumps come out of every session, every game says so before it starts, and one tap on the same screen brings them back.
Any doubt about exercising? Ask a doctor first.
How does the streak work?
You pick your days when you set up. Play on those days and your streak grows; your rest days count on their own.
Want other days? Change them in Settings › Plan. Your new plan starts next Monday, and this week stays as planned.
Can I keep my progress on a new phone?
Yes, with an account. Create one in Settings › Account and data, with Apple on iPhone, Google or your email, then sign in on your new phone: your streak, your scores and your plan come with you.
Without an account, everything stays on the phone you played on.
Delete your SWADE account
Deleting is for real: your account and everything it holds are erased. It can’t be undone.
In the app. Open the Profile tab, tap Settings, then Account and data, and tap Delete my account. Confirm with Yes, delete everything. Want a copy first? Export my data, on the same screen, hands you everything our servers hold in one file.
Without the app. No longer have the app, or it won’t open? Write to [email protected] from your account’s email address and ask us to delete it. We only act on a message sent from that address: it’s how we know it’s you. We delete it within 30 days and write back once it’s done. Signed in with Apple and hid your email? Say so in your message: we write back to your relay address, and you confirm from your inbox.
What goes, and when.
- Your profile, plan, sessions, scores, streak and sign-ins are deleted from our database right away.
- A copy stays in our backups until they rotate, then it’s gone from them too.
- Deleted in the app, your phone forgets the account and everything it stored.
- Our server logs keep the address your phone calls from and the pages it asks for, never your name, your email or your moves.
SWADE Premium. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription: Apple or Google bills it. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. RevenueCat, which handles purchases for us, keeps an anonymous purchase ID and the App Store or Google Play receipts, needed for refunds: never your name, your email or your moves.
Signed in with Apple. Deleting in the app also asks Apple to stop using your Apple Account with SWADE. Deleting by email can’t. To be sure, you can also do it yourself: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, pick SWADE and stop using it.
Signed in with Google. SWADE stays in your Google Account’s connections until you remove it: open your third-party connections, pick SWADE and delete the connection.
